On One Inbred 29er For Sale
Has been used for bikepacking in the most part. Has also been general goto bike for quick blasts. It has marks, scratches and scuffs, as you would expect for a bike that has been used. Frameset was purchased about 1 year ago. Pedals are not included.
It’s a great ride, with or without the suspension. Comfy on long rides and a blast at the trail centres. Also perfect for load lugging when bikepacking.

My 10 speed cassette, chain and rear mech where due to be replaced and as I was already using 1×10 with a 42 tooth One-Up this made sense as the next progression. I use Srams XX1 groupset on my race bike so I new 11 speed was the way to go for my winter bike.
It made sense price wise too, especially if you only need the cassette, mech, chain and shifter. All of which can be had for less than £150 if you look hard enough.
I thought do a really need to put a lengthy review? The answer is no, not really. It’s exactly what you would expect from an XT groupset. It just works, simple. Its huge bang for your buck…. nuff said. To be honest its hard to justify XTR and XX1 over XT now this new 1×11 groupset is out. OK, so its a little heavier, but not enough.
The best news is these XT 11 speed cassettes do fit on 10 speed freehubs. I have tested it on a Mavic, Hope and Superstar freehubs without problem.
Was nice to actually be out on the MTB this week instead of being stuck indoors on the turbo trainer.
Managed to skive of work on Wednesday morning to do my usual telegraph pass loop. The weather was amazing.
Off to do the a loop over on the wayfarer nr Corwen tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will stay dry.
As I no longer use it, its time to let it go. No point in it sitting there going to waste when someone else could make use out of it. I have switched to a 29er hardtail since the beginning of the season for the MTB marathons I do.
It Canyons top of the line model from 2013, actually a better spec than this years model which costs £2599. I have upgraded too by adding Sram XO gripshift and a stealth rockshox dropper seatpost. Its converted to tubeless too.
- Full Sram XO Groupset with gripshift and carbon cranks.
- Fox Kashima Float CTD Forks
- Fox Kashima Float CTD Rear Shock
- Mavic Crossmax SLR wheels
- Rockshox Stealth dropper seatpost
- Size Small, 16″
I have got a couple of spare rear hangers too to go with it.
Its in great condition and I have looked after it as best I can. Everything still works as it should. There are a few scrapes here and there, most notable under the chain stay near the crankset from the chain and on the rear driveside spokes from chain slap.
I think £1800 is a fair price for a lot of bike.
I dont think posting is a good idea as have had bad experiences in the past. I would happily meet somewhere or why not come over for the day and i will take you riding nearby. After all we have some of the best riding right on our doorstep….
